Fitbit 10,000 Step Goal SLC
For this walking exercise the task was to find an appropriate urban starting point and to walk 10,000 steps in the city of downtown Salt Lake. Photography was to be used as a method of observation and documentation along the walk.
For my walking exercise I decided I wanted to document every 1,000 steps I took with a picture of my Fitbit screen and then looking up from the Fitbit with a second picture of my current surrounding. Before I even started my walk when I heard 10,000 steps I automatically thought of my Fitbit because that is the standard step goal on most wearable step tracking devices which, is how I got my inspiration on how I wanted to approach this walk. After the walk I went through and added a time stamp to my Fitbit pictures to see how long it took me to walk about 1,000 steps.
